Missie Fennell

Director of Women's Ministries

Missie stepped into the Women’s Ministry position as of January 1, 2016. Born in San Francisco and adopted into a Christian family of Modesto, CA at one month old, she was raised with one older brother (also adopted). Missie gave her life to Christ at age 9 while watching a Billy Graham Crusade on TV at the foot of her parents bed and went forward the next Sunday at church. She recommitted her life to Christ her senior year of college and was baptized in August 1976 (First Baptist Church Modesto). Missie attended and graduated Menlo College School of Business Administration in Atherton, CA and eventually became an administrator/owner of Sharon Heights Care & Rehab (skilled nursing facility) in Menlo Park. She’s been married since 1985 to Bob and has two sons, Jonathan (26) and Thomas (24). Since coming to BCC Missie’s been involved with the Music and Worship Ministries (Choir, Ensembles, Praise Team), three terms as Deaconess and leading Bible study for two years as well as a member of Common Ground Life Group.
