All preschoolers are invited to join us in the Fourplex (behind the Worship Center) on Sundays at 11:00AM! We spend most of our time outdoors (weather permitting), with a short story time indoors that is enjoyed with doors open for air circulation.
All kids ages 2 and up must wear a mask at all times. Please stay home if you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or recent loss of taste or smell).
If you have any questions, please email Kathy@bridges.church.
Please note that the majority of the Family Ministries Team and our volunteers are vaccinated. We are also doing extra cleaning and sanitizing throughout the Fourplex, and we do not share crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, or other supplies–each child is given an individual supply box to use. Children are socially distanced when seated or for occasional activities at a table.
We will no longer be uploading our online Sunday School slideshow. Instead, we will post a video of that week’s part of the Big God Story elementary curriculum that we cover in person. Please join us for this video HERE.
What would it look like to give our kids and students a compelling faith? What if we challenged our kids and students to know something more than just a long list of people and places? What if our kids and students regularly encountered God? What if our kids and students learned to hear God’s voice and respond? What if our kids and students brought the kingdom of God here? How would they be changed? How would we be changed?
BCC Family Ministries desires to see these questions answered. Our goal is to grow spiritually healthy families. We would like to foster a new generation that has an active relationship with God and who are looking for ways to bring the kingdom of God here.
We believe that to grow spiritually healthy families, parents must be equipped to be the primary nurturers of their kid’s faith (Deuteronomy 6), that the faith community needs to play a supportive role in this endeavor (Ephesians 4), and that we must remain dependent on the Holy Spirit to bring about spiritual growth and formation when and as he chooses (Philippians 2:13).
We use an engaging web-based curriculum called “Tru” by David C. Cook to show them that the Bible and even our lives today are united in one story – the Big God Story.
