What is Fusion?

Fusion is the name of our midweek ministry that meets September – May, where families and people of all ages can gather together to share in food, community, biblical teaching, and discussions that deepen our understanding of who God is and what it means to walk with Him.  We start things off with an affordable family – style dinner served from 6:00 – 6:30 PM followed by a variety of class and group options for every age.

When does Fusion meet?

Fusion meets during the school year. While Fusion is on hiatus for the summer, our kickoff event for the Fall semester will be on Wednesday, September 4.

Where does Fusion meet?

Bridges Community Church – 625 Magdalena Ave., Los Altos, CA 94024.   We begin in the Family Center (Upstairs – Room 524 & 525) for dinner and then breakout to the respective rooms outlined below.

6:30 – 7:30 PM A Firm Foundation:  Building Life on God’s Word led by Pastor Steve Durand
Parents, students, and children are invited to join us as we begin this new study.  God wants everyone to know Him more, to abide in Him daily, and to recognize His voice.  One of the best ways to do this is by reading the Bible.  But even if you are convinced you should read and study the Bible more, it can often be confusing to know where to begin and how to stay motivated.  This Fusion study is therefore aimed at helping you – no matter your age or spiritual background – learn to not only read and understand the Bible more, but to actually enjoy it!  Kids, students, and parents will learn about why being in God’s Word is so vitally important.  We’ll also discover:

  • How the individual parts of the Bible fit within the larger scriptural and historical context
  • A variety of proven Bible study methods
  • How to properly interpret a text
  • How to start or maintain a Bible reading plan
  • How to apply what God is teaching you

So whether you are just getting started in your spiritual journey or have been a Christ-follower for many years, the good news is that this study will help you to better interact with and depend upon a living God who wants a personal relationship with you!
