To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, DivorceCare will meet online until April 9 at the earliest. This is an evolving situation, so please keep checking back for updates. For access to the online group, please email email@example.com.
Bridges Community Church is offering a weekly DivorceCare group designed to help you work through the emotional pain of separation or divorce. We will meet January 30 – May 14 on Thursday nights, 6:30 – 8:00 pm in Room 521 (above the gym in the BCC Family Center).
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You are welcome to join our group regardless of where you are in the process of your separation or divorce.
DivorceCare is led by leaders who understand what you are going through and have healed from the impact of divorce and can minister to those who have just completed or still are going through this journey. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. You don’t have to go through it alone.
DivorceCare has two distinct elements: a seminar with experts and a support group with focus.
A Seminar with Experts
During the first 30 to 40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies and on-location video.
A Support Group with Focus
After viewing a video DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.
When do we meet?
