A message from your Bridges Pastors and Elders

December 5, 2020

Most of you are probably aware of the recent increase in Covid cases and the new restrictions from the state and county in the last 48 hours. Though the new restrictions do not currently change our ability to have outdoor services with less than 100 people, we are being asked by the Bay Area county health officials to do everything possible to try to help stop the spread of this virus.

For the past nine months we as a church have been faithfully following all government health guidelines, but in this case, yesterday we discussed the question, “Just because we can have a service, should we?”

We concluded that in order to show our support for controlling the virus, and in the interest of everyone’s health, and as a continuing expression of love to our community, we will be suspending the patio service, beginning this Sunday, December 6, through January 3. It’s our hope that many of us (depending on the numbers we are allowed) will be able to join together in person on the patio on January 10 for Dan’s installation service as our new Lead Pastor.

Our online worship services will continue to be available each Sunday morning. And Nate and the worship team are also preparing an online Christmas Eve Service that you won’t want to miss! You can access all of this through the Bridges webpage, Vimeo, YouTube, or Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to the day when we can all gather again, in person, to worship and fellowship together.
