Two LACS teachers, Nico Roundy and Brad Burman, had their heads shaved in chapel on Tuesday. This was the culmination of a fundraiser, Pennies for Patients, in which the students brought in pennies to help children with cancer. The staff thought the students might raise $500, but they raised over $2000. At $500 they earned a week of free dress; a big deal for our kids. They were told that if they raised $1000, the teachers would shave their heads. The students exceeded and doubled our expectations. LACS is blessed with great staff members who are willing to give up their hair to inspire the kids!
