Solar Project Update
Work continues on the Solar Project with significant milestones met for the completion of the installation of the mounting brackets for Peterson Hall; Burkhart Hall; the Gym and a portion of the Family Center.
The next milestone that is currently underway is the installation of the electrical conduits from the panels to the Inverters. Electricity created by the panels are carried via wire in conduits to the Inverter where it is converted from Direct Current (DC) to Alternating Current (AC) and then fed back in to the electrical Grid.
Activities in this sub-project include finding a place to attach the Inverter to the building and then running the conduits from the Inverters to the Roof adjacent to where the panels will be placed. SunLogic Solar is dong a very nice job in laying out the placement and running these conduits. Take a look at these pictures below.
