Our Wycliffe workers, now working from the U.S,  have reconnected with their focus villages in a mountainous Asian country, and renewed friendships and relationships with numerous village leaders, old friends, Buddhist lamas and new friends over countless cups of tea, seeing God slowly opening doors for work there.

Another area of progress is learning and analyzing the language, not yet a written one, aided by a large world-wide community of native speakers who are on-line and serve as a "virtual village".

Our workers also reported that two nationals have committed to being a part of the initial translation team, and are now enrolled in school in the capital city in order to be literate in the national language, a necessary step in becoming translators.
